Rhett Davis is in his 13th year teaching Bible at Charlotte Christian School where he serves as head of the Bible department. He loves connecting with teenagers and inviting them to know and love the God of the Bible. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership at Columbia International University and plans to research “Christian High School Factors That Influence Students’ Three-Dimensional Worldview.”
Rhett enjoys spending time with his wife, Kara, and their six children. He also enjoys reading, playing basketball, and piloting his flying camera (DJI Mavic Air).

Courtney serves at Joy El as our Program Director for camping programs. Courtney has grown up through Joy El’s various programs, starting with Released Time (now called Bible Adventure), then in camp and the 4.12 Leadership Training Program. She has served as a senior counselor, as female junior coordinator on our summer leadership team and was formerly our 4.12 Female Coordinator. She will soon be graduating from Lancaster Bible College with a degree in Women in Ministry Leadership and Biblical Studies.
